For this week’s tech hack I wanted to do something more elaborate than my other hacks. So for this one I decided to make a bunny lamp.
All you need is a plastic water bottle, LED candle or an old phone’s flashlight ,a sock, black paint or a black sharpie. You will also need Scissors and a glue gun.
This Tech diary is inspired by Yasmin’s Miffy lamp, I wanted to make twist on it by using a old phone. I have linked her video at the bottom in case you want to check it out. But without further ado, let's get into the DIY!
First take your water bottle and cut the top of it.
Then using the top of the bottle cut out two ears.
Glue on the ears to the bottle
Next, make two holes in your sock at opposite sides.
Draw the face using a sharpie or paint.
After the glue had dried on the water bottle, put the sock over. Make adjustments if needed.
Last, put an LED light inside or a old phone inside (with the flashlight feature on)
That’s it! Now you have a cute bedside lamp for you or a younger sibling. This lamp makes the perfect gift for family and friends while also helping the planet. Till next week!
